Auctions
Barry Cherwin Auctioneers Do you need an auctioneer for your fund-raiser? Barry Cherwin could be your guy. He is a Past President of the New York City Auctioneers Assn; Past Bid Calling Champion, New York City; and was NYC Auctioneer of the Year, 2000. He has auctioned everything from movie and TV roles to vacation packages in Europe, South America, and Asia; from Hot Air Balloon rides to ATVs, VCRs, and YNIs. He has also conducted nearly 1000 Fine Art Auctions, and has auctioned stamps, jewelry, computers, Fine Wines, automobiles, trucks, Real Estate, and entire business establishments. He has conducted auctions in almost every state in the United States. Mr. Cherwin is quite well-known in auction circles. Like late-night talk-show host David Letterman; country great Reba McIntyre; and our late president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, for instance, Barry has been asked for his autograph. Unlike the afore-mentioned luminaries, however, Mr. Cherwin once auctioned a case of tuna fish for $520; a tie he was wearing for $1000; and a parking spot for $4000. People simply enjoy spending money at his auctions.
