Woodstock Film Festival

The Woodstock Film Festival is an educational not-for-profit, 501 (C)(3) organization with a mission to present an annual program and year-round schedule of film, music, and art-related activities that promote artists, culture, inspired learning, and diversity. The Woodstock Film Festival has a nine-year track record of presenting exceptional programming including films, panels, workshops and concerts that foster cultural, educational and economic development. Programming has consistently created a synergy and mutually beneficial relationship between artists, audience, industry guests and community members.

SCREENINGS featuring more than 130 films from around the country and globally are the anchor the festival. PANELS cover a broad spectrum of current artistic, technical and social issues.

In just ten years, the festival has quickly become a premiere hot-spot for emerging and established filmmakers. Key festival participants have included Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Barbara Kopple, Rosie Perez, Matt Dillon, Mira Nair, Peter Gabriel, Woody Harrelson, Ethan Hawke, Aidan Quinn, Benjamin Bratt, Vera Farmiga, Tim Blake Nelson, Ismail Merchant, the Late Elmer Bernstein, Marcia Gay Harden, Parker Posey, Liev Schreiber, Bill Plympton, David Strathairn, Tim Robbins, Haskell Wexler, and many others.
